Man dies in crash near Fowler, IN

The Benton County Indiana Sheriff’s Police report a fatal crash. According to reports, it happened just after 10 yesterday morning when a car hit a utility pole in rural Fowler, Indiana. Reports say the driver was thrown from the car at the time of the crash. He was flown to Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, but reportedly died of his injuries on the way to the hospital. His name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
