Benton County, IN Motorcycle Crash

Benton County Indiana Sheriff’s Police report motorcycle versus vehicle crash this morning. According to a press release, 33-year-old Javier D. Saldana was on his motorcycle at the intersection of U.S. Highway 52 and 300 North Road when a car driven by 52-year-old Crystal D. Halsema of Williamsport, Indiana pulled out in front of him. Saldana was found face down and unconscious in the roadway by deputies and flown by helicopter to the hospital with severe injuries. Halsema was not injured and cited for failure to yield. The crash remains under investigation.
