Gas prices are up again headed into the weekend. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of gas is four-dollars-30 cents across the Land of Lincoln. Up three cents overnight. Gas prices across Kankakee County took a six cent jump overnight from yesterday’s 4.15 a gallon to 4.21 on average today. Triple-A says a gallon of gas will set you back four-dollars-18 cents on average in Iroquois County. It’s running 4.22 on average in Ford County, 4.23 in Grundy County and 4.23 on average in Will County.
Across the state line, that gallon of gas is running three-dollars-81 cents on average in Newton County. It’s 3.83 on average in Benton County and 3.83 on average in Jasper County. Triple-A says a gallon of gas will set you back three-dollars-70 cents on average across the Hoosier State.
