County Assessor addresses property tax increases

As property tax bills start to show up in the mail box, some local residents are being hit with sticker shock. During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Executive Committee, County Assessor Erich Blair was asked about the increases

Blair said property owners should also check their bill to make sure they still have all the exemptions available to them.
