Flood Watch 10am-9pm

A flood watch does go into effect for us at 10 this morning and runs through nine tonight. The National Weather Service says heavy rainfall today could cause flash flooding throughout the area. The Weather Service says showers and thunderstorms are expected today with heavy rain at times. They say we could see rainfall as much as two inches in an hour in the hardest hit places. That, coupled with soil moistures already high and creeks and streams already up could mean flooding in low-lying areas.
