It’s HOT….again

Hot weather continues to hit much of Illinois.  The National Weather Service has issued another heat advisory for our area. It’s goes into effect at noon today and runs through nine tonight. The Weather Service says temps could reach the upper 90s today with heat index values as high as 105-degrees.  Experts say you should wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing outside, while limiting strenuous activities to early morning or evening. Drink plenty of water and be sure to check on your friends and neighbors. Extreme heat is hardest on the very young, the very old and those with pre-existing conditions.
