Childhood home of Dick VanDyke to be demolished in Danville

The childhood home of beloved actor Dick Van Dyke in Danville is being torn down.  The city announced yesterday that the home was being demolished because it was hazardous and unsafe.  The property was condemned in 2016, but the Dick Van Dyke Foundation planned to turn it into a museum.  However, the house was deemed beyond repair.
