At Monday night’s Manteno Village Board meeting, trustees unanimously passed a resolution to enter into an intergovernmental agreement with the Manteno Fire Protection District. Trustee Joel Gesky says the agreement helps make sure businesses are up to date on fire safety codes.
Trustee Gesky says the agreement with Manteno Fire isn’t really different from what they’ve done before; it formalizes what has already been in place.
