The Kankakee County Branch of the NAACP will hold their 81st Annual Freedom Fund Gala this Saturday. Branch President Theodis Pace talked about the event on a recent episode of the Kankakee Valley Community Happenings podcast with Mike Tomano.
Pace says this year’s gala theme is “We The People” and Karen Boykin-Towns will be the keynote speaker.
