Kankakee City Police report some damage done to a couple of vehicles yesterday. Reports say officers were called to an automotive shop in the 900 block of North Schuyler Tuesday for a report of a catalytic converter stolen from a pickup truck. Employees of the business said the truck had been parked in the business lot for the past two weeks and they didn’t know when the converter had been taken.
City Police were called to a home in the 800 block of South Poplar yesterday where a man told police he’d gotten off work at seven in the morning and came out to find a landscaping brick had been thrown at the windshield, hood and front quarter panel of his car. The victim said he thought he might know who did the damage, but he’d have to check his cameras to make sure.
