Kankakee Man Hit on the Head

Kankakee City Police say a man was sent to the hospital last night after being hit over the head with a pellet gun. According to reports, officers were called to the 200 block of South Schuyler Avenue just after 11 last night where the victim told them the incident happened at the intersection of East Hickory and South Indiana. When they went to that area, officers say they found the victims belongings and some blood on a bench. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries. He told police he wasn’t sure who’d hit him.
