Kankakee City Police Investigate Suspected Homicide

Kankakee City Police are investigating an alleged homicide in the city. According to reports, officers were called to a home in the 300 block of North Wildwood just after 5 this morning for an unknown problem. When officers got there, they say they found 60-year-old Anthony Gray and 63-year-old Terry Brown fighting on the floor of the home. Officers separated the two and Gray was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries, he later died. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner says an autopsy this morning showed Gray to have multiple stab wounds. Brown was arrested by city police on a preliminary charge of first degree murder.
