Hoopeston is Ready to Party Like it’s 1871

The City of Hoopeston is 150 years old and is celebrating its Sesquicentennial this week as a run up to the 4 ^th of July.  Special events are planned in the McFerren Park area along with tours of historical downtown Hoopeston.  All this leading up to the grand parade Saturday at 10:30 and Fireworks Saturday night at dusk.
