DeMotte Police Arrest Man for Alleged Sex with a Minor

DeMotte Police report the arrest of a 47-year-old man Wednesday after he was accused in the sexual assault of a juvenile. According to reports, DeMotte police were notified on June 14th that Saul Hernandez of Demotte had been involved in the sexual battery of a juvenile girl. The victim allegedly told police Hernandez had assaulted her on June sixth. During the investigation, reports say a second girl made similar allegations against Hernandez. DeMotte police say Hernandez is being held in the Jasper County Jail on two counts each of rape and sexual battery and one count each of child seduction and child molestation. His bond’s been set at 100-thousand-dollars.
