Baby Dies in Matteson Accident

Matteson police are investigating a deadly car crash that took the life of a baby and injured four other people.  The collision happened yesterday afternoon along Vollmer Road, near a forest preserve.  Police say a four-month-old involved in the accident was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at St. James Hospital.  She has been identified as Athena Green.  The four other victims were not from Matteson and there is no word on how the crash happened.
