Jul 7, 2021 | 4:44 PM

Kankakee School District 111 will be getting a 458,000 dollar grant to benefit Head Start Programs in the city.   The money is part of 1.3 billion dollars that state is getting through the American Rescue Plan for child care.  Congresswoman Robin Kelly announced the grant this morning and says the goal is to keep child care and head start programs open, keep workers on the job, and lower costs for working families.
