Emergency Management Agency Personnel in Iroquois County say Marathon Pipeline Personnel have responded to a release of gas from one of its pipelines in Iroquois County. Marathon as closed down the pipeline and people have been sent to contain the release and start cleaning it up. Reports say the leaked fuel has reached a field ditch, but has been contained. No injuries have been reported at this time. A press release from Iroquois County Emergency Management says it’s believed the release is the result of “third party activities”.
