Danimal Comes to Kankakee Tonight

Former Chicago Bear Lineman, Dan Hampton, will be the keynote speaker at the Kankakee Country club tonight for the Denny 2021.  The event is a benefit sponsored by the Dennis J. Smith Legacy Foundation in Memory of Smith who passed away in 2007 from ALS or Lou Gehrig disease.   Smith spent 15 years on the KCC board of Trustees, served as Chairman of the Board for the Helen Wheeler Center, was a trustee on the Riverside Medical Center Foundation Board and much more.  Along with raising funds for ALS the foundation also provides scholarships to students at Bishop Mac and KCC.  Tonight’s gala begins at 6:30
