City Police Confiscate Gun

Kankakee City Police were called to the 400 block of North Rosewood Avenue Tuesday evening for a report of shots fired. When they got there, officers say they found a spent shell casing on the front steps of a home in the area and made contact with a man who told them he’d been cleaning his gun on the front steps when it went off. Reports say the man seemed incoherent, so officers took the gun to the police department for safe keeping.
