Shots Fired in Kankakee This Morning

Nobody was hurt in an early morning shooting in Kankakee today.  It was just before 2 this morning city police were called to the 200 block of East Birch Street for a report of shots fired.  Upon arrival officers found a two car accident with one of the vehicles suffering from multiple gunfire damage and spent shell casings in the street.  No one was reported hurt.  Police say both drivers had left the scene by the time officers arrived.
