Kankakee Fire Department Responds to House Fire

Kankakee City Fire Department personnel were called to a small home in a fire in the 500 block of Union about 10 o’clock Saturday morning. Firefighters say the fire was mostly contained to the contents of personal belongings of one of the people living there, seemingly the result of a domestic disturbance. Arson investigators arrested 31-year-old Jennifer M. Flood of Kankakee for allegedly setting fire to her boyfriend’s things.
