The City of Kankakee got some 15-million-dollars from the Feds through the American Rescue Plan Act and Kankakee Mayor Chris Curtis says they want to hear from city residents how the windfall should be used.
Curtis points out that while the City Council will have final determination over where ARPA funds are spent, they would like to have input from the community on the best use of the funds. You can find that survey on the City of Kankakee’s website.
