Shot Fired in Kankakee

City police were called to the 1000 block of East Maple Street early Sunday morning for reports of shots fired.  Upon arrival officers could find no signs of injuries or damage, but did locate a single spent shell casing in the street.  Police say a man seen walking in the area at the time the shot was fired, was gone by the time officers arrived.
