Merchant Street Musicfest Draws Big Crowds

This year’s Merchant Street Musicfest was a rousing success.  Over 9,000 people attended the two day music extravaganza in downtown Kankakee last weekend.  The Daily Journal reports those numbers are down from 2019’s fest by about 1500 attendees.  Last year’s Musicfest was called off because of the Pandemic.
