Gardner Man Gets 8 Years for Drug Induced Homicide

A Gardner man has been sentenced to 8 years in prison after pleading guilty to the 2018 drug induced homicide of a pregnant Braidwood woman.   27 year old Colin West admitted to investigators that he sold 22 year old Samantha Kile heroin the night before her mother found her dead in the bathtub.  The coroner ruled Kile drowned due to fentanyl and heroin intoxication.  West will have to serve three years on parole follow his release.
