Kankakee County Sheriff’s police are looking for help to identify those responsible for shooting two people in Pembroke Township overnight. According to reports, deputies were called to the area of three-thousand South Road, just east of 13-thousand East about 8:45 last night for a report of shots fired. When they got there, investigators say they found two people had been shot in different locations and both had been taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Reports say a 31-year-old woman had been shot in the leg while in her house while the other victim, a 41-year-old man, had been struck in the arm and stomach. Sheriff’s police ask anyone with information about these shootings call the sheriff’s office or CRIMESTOPPERS at 815-93-CRIME. Tips to CRIMESTOPPERS are anonymous and could result in a cash reward.
