Weapons Charges for Rantoul Man Who Shot and Killed Intruder

A Rantoul man who police say shot and killed a 32 year old Blake L. Williams of Buckley this week after Williams allegedly forced his way into man’s home is facing weapons charges.  51 year old Antonio Davis is a felon and is not allowed to own firearms.   He allegedly killed Williams with a shotgun blast to the chest during a struggle between the two.  The News Gazette reports that Davis is cooperating with authorities and tells police he knew Williams as an alleged drug dealer.  Bond for Davis has been set at 75,000 dollars.  Police say the investigation into the shooting is still ongoing.
