An arrest warrant for a Kankakee City police officer has been quashed after her appearance in Kankakee County Court Tuesday. The Daily Journal reports Officer Marisha Costello initially failed to appear to testify in a court case against a man on trial on felony weapons charges. He was found not guilty partly, Judge Kathy Bradshaw-Elliott said at the time because of the lack of Costello’s testimony. The arrest warrant was issued when she also failed to appear last week on a charge of indirect contempt of court that had been filed by the States Attorney’s office for her failure to appear in the weapons case. Costello’s next court date in December 2 nd.
