Monday Crash Kills 73-year-old Kankakee man

A traffic crash Monday night took the life of a 73-year-old Kankakee man. According to reports,Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police were called to a crash in the area of 4718 East 2000 north just after 5:30 Monday night. When they got there, deputies say they found the accident between a car and motorcycle with the motorcycle driver lying in the road unresponsive. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner says David R. Boudreau of Kankakee died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the car told officers she was driving on 2000 north when Boudreau pulled from the ditch onto the roadway and she didn’t have time to stop. Deputies ticketed the driver of the car for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
