Kankakee Man Arrested on Child Sex Charges

A Kankakee man has been arrested on a charge of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child under the age of 13 in connection with an incident that occurred 5 years ago involving a Rantoul child. Rantoul police allege 48 year old Javier Macedo assaulted the child at an address on River Street in Kankakee.   Police say an investigation has been underway since the child’s father reported the incident in April of this year
