Masks to be worn in Milford Schools

Masks will be worn in Milford Schools this year.  The school board this week approved the requirement on a 4 to 2 vote.  The plan does allow for students to take a mask break when needed and where safe.  A 2^nd plan that would have provided for a mask optional transition period failed to be approved.  District officials are concerned for the repercussions if the governors mask mandate in schools is not followed, including a possible loss funding.
