Bond Set for Gun and Drug Charges

Bond has been set at 50,000 dollars for a Paxton man facing drug and weapon’s charges.   Urbana police say 22 year old Damian Wilson was pulled over Sunday night just after 10 for a routine traffic stop when officers say the people inside the vehicle began acting suspiciously.   They called in a K-9 who sniffed out some 14 grams of methamphetamine and a 22 caliber revolver hidden in a small safe on the floorboard.  Wilson is charged with possession and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon for not having a valid F.O.I.D. card.
