Fatal Crash in Newton County Indiana

The Newton County Indiana Sheriff’s Office report a fatal crash near Morocco Wednesday. Reports say deputies were called to the area of County Road 200 just east of Meridian Road about 4:15 Wednesday afternoon, for a report of a car off the roadway. When they got there, deputies say they found a car that had left the road, traveled through a farm field and hit an earthen embankment before coming to rest on its side in a wooded area. The only person in the car, described only as a male, was dead when officers found him. No other information has been made available at this time.
