Shots Fired in Kankakee (Unconfirmed)

There’s no word yet from city police on two reports of gunfire over the weekend in Kankakee.  We’re told shots were reported in the 1200 block of E. Merchant Sunday night.  And sources tell us multiple shell casings were found when shots rang out in the 300 block of South Osborn Saturday night.  We don’t believe anyone was hurt in either case.  We hope to have more from city police later this afternoon.
