State Police Report Results of Special Patrols

Illinois State Police have announced the results of the Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement or ACE patrols held in Kankakee County Friday night. Troopers say the special patrols resulted in 21 arrests or citations and 34 written warnings. ACE patrols provide extra funding to the state police to focus on preventing, detecting and taking enforcement action in response to impaired driving. The special patrols are paid for by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
