Overnight Fire in Kankakee

Kankakee City Fire Department Personnel were called to a home in the 300 block of North Hunter early this morning for an attic fire. According to reports, while the fire was contained to the attic, it did cause some 10-thousand dollars worth of damage to the home and displaced the two people living there. There were no reports of injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
