Bourbonnais Home Fire Caused by Lightening

Bourbonnais Fire Fighters were called to a home in the 300 block of Barrington Drive this morning when a passerby spotted smoke coming out of the eves of a home.  Bourbonnais fire saying it appears the cause was lightening.   The two story home was struck during last night’s storms which caused something in the attic to smolder all night.   The family will have to leave the home while repairs are made, but nobody was hurt.  Damage is estimated at about 75,000 dollars.
