Steger Woman Charged with Attempted Murder

The Country Herald online reports that a Steger woman was arrested last week after apparently trying to kill a man.  According to Park Forest police, officers were called to an apartment on Juniper Street last Thursday where a man had been struck multiple times in the head with a knife.  Vera D. Dennis was arrested on a charge of attempted murder
