Unspecified Threats Heightens Security at Kankakee High and BBCHS

In an email to parents today, Kankakee high school officials say they were dealing with an unspecified threat at the school this morning.   City police were called to the learning center and after an initial investigation determined that the threat was not credible and of no immediate danger to students and staff.  Details on the nature of the threat were not released.  Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School also reportedly on heightened alert today because of a message on the app Snapchat this morning.  Again specifics were not given, the school was apparently not specifically mentioned in the message.
