The Village of Braceville will be a quieter place as of yesterday. With only a few exceptions, passing trains will no longer be allowed to sound their horns within the village limits. Braceville officials say the horn moratorium is in response to complaints by residents who have seen an increase in train traffic passing through town. Village officials, however, do advise that you use additional caution at railroad crossings in Braceville.
