County Getting Cutting Edge Website

Kankakee County’s Website is getting a complete makeover.  The county is contracting with CivicPlus to develop what would be a much more user friendly and interactive website with improved esthetics and flexibility for when emergency’s strike.  County Board Chairman Andy Wheeler said at this week’s County Finance Committee meeting that he likes the collaborative nature of the company and adds the website, when completed in about 6 months, will be cutting edge.  Startup will cost the county 42,000 dollars with the funding coming from the American Rescue Plan Act or ARPA grant money.
