The Kankakee County Health Department reports 188 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 between October first and fifth. On their Facebook page Tuesday, the Health Department reported no new COVID-related deaths over the same four-day period. Presently just over 42-percent of county residents are fully vaccinated.
On Monday, the Iroquois County Public Health Department reported 92 new cases and two additional deaths in the one week period between September 27th and October 4th. Ford County reports 15 new cases and no new deaths between September 24th and October first.
