One Killed, Crete Teen Hurt in Crash

A Munster, Indiana man was killed and a 17 year old from Crete was injured in a single vehicle accident about 5:30 Wednesday morning on southbound 394 near Goodenow Road.   Illinois State police say the 17 year old was behind the wheel when the vehicle left the roadway went into a ditch and struck two utility poles before coming to rest in a field.  The 18 year old passenger from Munster was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver was hospitalized, his condition is unknown.
