Garage Fire in Kankakee Today

Kankakee firefighters were called to a home in the 1200 block of South Wilson this afternoon for what’s described as a small fire that investigators believe started in a wall of the garage.  The fire that was extinguished quickly was contained to the garage.  No one was hurt.  Kankakee Fire said damage is estimated at about 2,000 dollars.
