The Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce held their annual State of the County breakfast this morning at the Knights of Columbus Hall in downtown Kankakee. County Health Department Administrator John Bevis updated the crowd on the latest COVID numbers
Bevis noted most of the fatalities are among those that have yet to be vaccinated against the virus and those with underlying health issues
So far more than 43 percent of Kankakee County residents have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
