Raises for Some Workers in Channahon

The Channahon Village Board handed out raises at this week’s village board meeting.  Trustees approve contracts with local 150 public employees covering Administration workers, employees with Public Works and police Sergeants.   The deal includes a 3 percent raise in year one, 2.75 percent in the second year then 2.5 percent for years three and four.  The contracts are good until April of 2025.
