Catalytic Converter Thief Runs for his Life

City Police report a man cutting off the catalytic converter on a vehicle in the 700 block of South Wall Street just before midnight on Halloween got a surprise when the vehicle’s owner spotted the man and grabbed his gun to confront the man.   The bad guy ran off without the catalytic converter after the gun owner fired off a round into the ground.  Leaving so fast, he also forgot his sweater behind on the ground.  So far there have been no charges announced against the vehicle’s owner for firing the weapon outside
