Three shot Friday night in Kankakee bar

Kankakee City Police report a shooting at a local bar early Saturday morning sent three people to the hospital. According to a press release, officers were called to the bar at 698 North Schuyler Avenue just after midnight Saturday morning for a report of shots fired. When they got there, officers say they found one woman who had been shot and officers were told two others had already taken themselves to the hospital. Reports say two of the three were later flown out to other hospitals. Investigators report finding one weapon at the scene and say they believe more than 50 rounds from several firearms were fired in the incident.. City police continue to investigate the shooting.
