Roberts Has Water Again

Repairs have been completed on the water tower in Roberts, Illinois in Ford County.   Residents had to drastically cut back on water usages Monday when the tower well failed and officials worried the water would run dry.   The problem turned out to be a leaking underground pipe.  A precautionary boil order was issued after the repairs were completed, but that was lifted today.
