Man killed in Kankakee

A Kankakee man was shot and killed outside his apartment in the 300 block of North Harrison Avenue about 11 Thursday night.  Kankakee Police say 36 year old Darrell L. Simmons died shortly after arriving at the hospital for treatment.  Police are still searching for the suspects in connection with the shooting.
